PC runs are accepted, and there are programs to capture what you play on a computer ( I think SM for example uses camtasia or something like that)
It's usually a bit harder to capture on pc though from what I hear. Mainly due to the fact that the recording program can slow down the game that you are playing.
For the future, if you ever do decide to do a console run, do yourself a favor and buy a dvd recorder. VHS is just too unreliable for me (I can't upload any N64 runs because of it) : /
EDIT: ah, it seems I forgot what topic I was posting this in. I still have to watch these, as well as the sonic 2 run (and I don't think I ever even watched Mike's emulated sonic 2 run from waaaaaaay back).

one weekend I will make time and watch all of em straight in a row though
